How quotas work
What counts and what happens when you reach a limit
Quotas apply to each Reservation.coffee instance and respect the timezone configured for the restaurant.
Bookings by service month
A booking counts in the month of its start date and time, not the month when it was created. The restaurant timezone is used.
Cancelled bookings do not count
Only bookings whose status is not cancelled are counted. When a booking is cancelled, it stops using that month’s quota.
When the limit is reached
Existing bookings remain available. To add another booking in that month, free up quota or choose a higher plan.
The monthly quota follows the calendar
Each month is calculated separately from the bookings scheduled in it. Unused quota does not roll over to the next month.
When you downgrade
No tables are deleted. The oldest remain active first and those over the new quota are suspended until they fit again.
Additional users
The owner does not use this quota. Free, Basic and Plus are owner-only; Pro lets you add up to five more users to the instance.

Plan questions
Before you choose
What does “monthly bookings” mean?
It is the number of non-cancelled bookings whose start date falls within that month, calculated using the restaurant’s configured timezone.
Does a September booking created in August count in August?
No. It counts in September because the scheduled service date and time are used.
Do cancelled bookings use the limit?
No. Bookings with cancelled status are excluded from the monthly count.
Is there a fee per booking or guest?
No. You pay the monthly plan fee and no variable charge is added per booking or party size.
Are my tables deleted if I downgrade?
No. Tables over the new quota are suspended, retain their data and can be restored automatically when you upgrade.
Do the five Pro users include the owner?
No. They are up to five additional users; the instance owner is included separately.
